These days the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State
Symphony Orchestra Sergey Smbatyan is in Great Britain, where he participates in a
recording with the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO). The recordings are made at the
famous Watford Colosseum.
By the way, this is not the first cooperation of Sergey Smbatyan with LSO.
London Symphony Orchestra is one of the best orchestras in the world. It was founded
in 1904 and was the first orchestra of its kind in the UK. In 1906, it became the first
British orchestra to perform abroad (Paris). The orchestra has closely collaborated with
