He presented the project ClassA and its purpose.
According to Sergey Smbatyan, it’s not a coincidence that the project starts with presenting Aram Khachaturian’s music to the pupils. “Khachaturian is one of our heroes, who changed the world, who allowed us to move in pace with the world," the conductor said.
During the meeting, Aram Khachaturian’s biography and musical heritage were presented. The Orchestra musicians also performed some excerpts from Khachaturian’s works.
The mobile application ClassA was also presented.
Sergey Smbatyan highlighted that he has high hopes that the high school students will attend the classical music concert with enthusiasm.
On November 10, the pupils who attended the meeting had the chance to attend the ''Khachaturian Non-Stop'' concert.
Anush Hayryan, the director of school N170, stressed the importance of this project aimed at creating taste and transferring cultural knowledge. She especially highlighted that it was a great honor for the school because the project started from their educational institution.
